Brian a resident of Cinnaminson, NJ has two children with his wife, Kris. After his retirement, he worked as the radio color commentator for the Flyers from 1999 to 2008.  In 1999, he was notably inducted into the Philadelphia Flyers Hall of Fame, then inducted into the Saskatchewan Rural Hockey Hall of Fame in 2002 and in 2003 he was inducted into the Saskatchewan Provincial Hall of Fame. Today, he is currently VP of Strategic Accounts for The Judge Group in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. On December 31st, 2011, Propp participated in the 2012 NHL Winter Classic Alumni Game. Bernie will be celebrating his 67^th birthday tomorrow. After his retirement, he spent several years in the Flyers organization as a goaltending coach, mentoring Vezina-winning goalies Ron Hextall and the late Pelle Lindbergh. Today, he is employed by the Flyers as Ambassador of Hockey, a philanthropist and motivational speaker. On December 7, 2011, Parent announced via Twitter that he would be playing in the 2012 NHL Winter Classic Alumni Game, to be held on December 31, 2011. Starting in goal for the Flyers, playing five minutes and letting in no goals on five shots. He was later named the first star of the game.
